Ultimate Frisbee is first and foremost about the spirit of the game.
There are no referees, you make your own calls and its up to you to be
fair towards yourself and your opponents. My goal for the CNU Frisbee
Club is to have fun, learn how to play, get out and play other schools.
How hard we work and train is up to the members of the team, we can only
go as far as you want. I can't make you come to practice, work hard or
come to the games you have to find that drive inside of you.
The reason I like Frisbee so much is because it is a sport where the teams
are friendly towards one another and mingle on the side lines. Its hard to
describe other than you're only opponents when you're on the field... when
you're on the sideline you talk to them, meet them, and congratulate them
on good plays and catches. For those of you who didn't come to the game last
Saturday against William & Mary, you missed the best part of Frisbee, the
games. I'm not going to lie, practicing is a bitch but the games are so much fun.
