Required Technical Skills:
- Axle turn
- Calypso leap
- C jump
- Double pirouette
- Triple pirouette
- Fouette turns
- Leap in second
- Toe touch
- Switch leap
- Switch open leap
- Right split & Left split
Attire for tryouts:
All black clothing (no baggy clothing please) and proper dance shoes
Note: dance attire must cover your midriff at all times!
Registration Fee:
- There is a $25 registration fee
- Make checks payable to CNU Silver Storm Dance Team
- Payment is to be turned in along with the registration form (below)

Walk-ins are welcome
Please email captian Marissa Acker at marissa.acker.07@cnu.edu before the first day of auditions if you under 18 years of age for a release form, or if you are unable to attend
Requirements for participation:
You must:
- Be a current CNU student, or a student who has been accepted to CNU
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Be in good social and academic standing
- Be signed up for either of the Setting Sail Orientations (applies to incomming freshman only)
- Attend a camp that will be held at CNU throughout the month of August. Dates for this camp will be posted soon
- Be able to accommodate dance team rehearlals along with academic schedules
- Attend mandatory practice on the following days
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30am to 8:30am
- Fridays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- Sundays from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
